‘I grew up in a Christian family. But in high school, I was enticed by the world. I pursued popularity, image, and gratification through drinking and women. I was caught up in desiring to be accepted, so I began to dress like them, talk like them, act like them. I was hoping to find ultimate peace and satisfaction, but I got to a point where what I experienced was not ultimate, but quite empty.

‘I came to the conviction that there has to be more than this! I had so many reminders that God is someone who doesn’t give up on him. You might not be loving him, but he still loves you. You might not be choosing him, but he still chooses you. I knew I wanted to try faith and church community again.’
