Anchor Church Sydney was planted in May 2014 in a small warehouse theatre on the urban perimeter of
Sydney. With a bold vision to see lives radically transformed by Jesus, we are committed to making

O P T I O N 1 : S P I R I T U A L F O R M A T I O N & D I S C I P L E S H I P ( – O R – )
This role focuses on leading our discipleship culture through Gospel Communities and spiritual formation.
The successful applicant will:
• Oversee Gospel Communities and Gospel Triplets (midweek discipleship groups)
• Coach, train, and multiply leaders
• Shape discipleship pathways for new and maturing believers
• Develop resources and rhythms that deepen spiritual formation across Anchor
O P T I O N 2 : W O R S H I P & O U T R E A C H
This role focuses on cultivating a worshipping culture at Anchor. The successful applicant will:
• Lead and develop our Sunday gatherings in song, liturgy, and creative expression
• Recruit, train, and pastor volunteer musicians and creatives
• Shape the spiritual and theological culture of worship at Anchor
• Collaborate with our staff team to create inspiring gatherings that are Christ-centred and Spirit-led
• Develop and oversee a strategic plan for outreach
• Alpha Course, seasonal events (Christmas & Easter)

• Theological qualification (B.Th./MDiv or in progress)
• Demonstrated gifting in preaching and teaching
E S S E N T I A L R E Q U I R E M E N T S
• Current Working with Children’s Check and clearance
• Completion of all Safe Ministry Training requirements for church leadership
• Agreement to our Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith
• Meets the biblical qualifications for church leadership (1 Tim 3, Titus 1, 1 Pet 5)
D E S I R A B L E Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S & E X P E R I E N C E
• 5 years’ experience in a ministry leadership role
• Proven ability leading growing teams and/ or an organisation
• Committed to a missional ecclesiology
• Experience working in a similar role
R E M U N E R A T I O N
This is a Part-Time role (~4 days per week) with expected involvement in ministry-related events such as
weddings, funerals, and conferences. Remuneration will be set according to our remuneration guidelines
and will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Our hope is that this role
will develop into a full-time position.
